The Washington State Department of Commerce, overseeing the state’s Clean Energy Fund, today announced awards for seven grants totally $4.76 million to enhance dairy digesters and advance clean energy in rural communities. Awardees include the town of Winthrop for the Winthrop Library solar project, Spokane Tribe of Indians for energy efficiency and decarbonization overhaul of the Spokane Tribe Administrative Building, and Pacific Ag Renewables for the Sunnyside Renewable Natural Gas project.
