Toyota recently revealed a prototype hydrogen fuel-cell truck based on their overseas Hilux. Fitted with “core elements” from the Toyota Mirai fuel-cell sedan, the truck has a range of 372 miles and is supplemented by a battery pack mounted in the bed. The completed prototype is under evaluation, and if it receives the green light- it will be introduced in the second half of this decade.
