U.S. automakers have pledged a huge increase in manufacturing electric vehicles.
The Biden Administration this week issued an executive order for half of all new car sales by 2030 to be electric vehicles.
Washington Gov. Jay Inslee reinstated his commitment to a continued partnership with the Biden Administration, industries and other states to realize our clean energy future.
“Transportation is our country’s number one source of emissions,” Inslee stated. “We thank President Biden for building from existing efforts between California and auto manufacturers in order to move swiftly.”
