Since 2017, Hiring for Hydro™, a one-day event co-located with an industry conference, has reached over 200 students from over 14 colleges in the Pacific Northwest. Students participate in educational workshops about careers in hydropower and can attend recruiting sessions.
Hiring for Hydro™ has traditionally been held at the Northwest Hydro Electric Association’s annual meeting and continues to expand to other regions. This year, the event will take place October 19, 2022, in Sacramento, CA.
