The Foundation for Water and Energy Education (FWEE) Hydropower and STEM Career Academy will be held June 20-24, 2022, at Chelan PUD’s Rocky Reach Discovery Center in Wenatchee, WA.
Secondary students will engage in a week of hands-on activities that combine STEM challenges with learning about career opportunities. Students will build hydropower models, race solar cars, and fly drones.
New this year is a unit on cybersecurity, an increasingly important aspect of getting power to homes.
