Several OEM’s have recently announced a new partnership with the Sweden-US Green Transition Initiative to showcase the electrification of construction equipment, green infrastructure construction, and the transition to a more sustainable construction sector in the U.S. The OEM’s include Volvo Construction Equipment, Atlas Copco Group, and Husqvarna Construction.
The Green Transition Initiative sets out to accelerate Swedish-American partnerships and drive sustainable impact- with objectives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase adoption of sustainable technologies, create a strong platform for collaborations between the U.S. and Sweden, and increase green tech investments. Since opening its Washington D.C. office in 2022, the Green Transition Initiative has established pilot projects that showcase innovative solutions.
