Congratulations to FWEE and all who participated in this year’s STEM Career Academies!
The Center was proud to support hydrogen education for these students with a hands-on activity building hydrogen powered cars.
Hosting academies for high school students this year in the Wenatchee and Tri-Cities areas, FWEE had a total of 37 graduates of the week-long program. Students were able to participate in a variety of hands-on activities, tours, and career planning with help from local utilities, educators, research scientists, and many others who helped make this program happen.
For many of the students this was an eye-opening experience, with one student saying, “This showed me more career options than I had ever really thought about in a new light.”
