Washington’s largest utility, Puget Sound Energy (PSE), and Modern Hydrogen, a clean energy technology leader, have recently announced a strategic partnership to drive the adoption of advanced decarbonized technologies in support of meeting Washingtons state’s clean energy goals.
Modern Hydrogen’s carbon removal technology enables large-scale CO2 emissions reduction in difficult-to-decarbonize commercial and industrial sectors such as steel and cement makers. By collaborating, the two companies will promote the development of distributed methane pyrolysis technology- a groundbreaking solution that removes carbon from natural gas at the point-of-use for commercial and industrial operations. The collaboration will also include a market analysis and the technical economic evaluation of Modern Hydrogen’s technology as a decarbonized energy solution in customer-specific applications.
