Electrician worker climbing electric power pole to repair the damaged power cable line problems after the storm. Power line support,Technology maintenance and development industry concept

Today is National Lineman Appreciation Day. The day honors and appreciates the hard-working men and women who work around the clock, in all kinds of weather, to keep our lights on. These skilled line workers often work in dangerous and demanding conditions to ensure the lights stay on, homes stay warm, and individuals stay connected regardless of the weather or time of day.

This week, Congressman David Rouzer (R-NC), along with Congressman Mike Flood (R-NE), Congresswoman Deborah Ross (D-NC), and Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp-Perez (D-WA), introduced a bipartisan resolution to designate April 18, 2025, as National Lineman Appreciation Day and recognize the more than 115,000 hardworking men and women maintaining America’s electrical infrastructure.

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to keeping the lights on!
