What do they do?

Ground crew assists line crew or network crew members by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials to workers. Digs holes and pads ditches, and performs other similar work in connection with the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power lines. Requires good mechanical and electrical aptitude; communication skills and electricity training helpful.
